The Opportunity
To support our growth and development of additional service offerings to benefit our customers across the globe, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Strategic Customer Consultant to join our team. The Strategic Customer Consultant will be responsible for managing customer relationships, helping our customers achieve great outcomes with their technology, and meeting sales targets for those opportunities to contribute to the overall growth of the company. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment with uncapped commission, and be part of a significant growth journey in the fast-moving technology space.
Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our IT services and solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure a seamless Customer experience and drive business growth.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals to Customers, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports internally on sales activities, Customer feedback, and market insights to the management team, along with quarterly business reports to customers supported by our technical team.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any Customer issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Experience and Background
- Experience: A background in account management, sales, or a related role, preferably within the IT industry, or other experience in commercial positions.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and managed services.
- Target-Oriented: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a Customer-focused approach.
Day to Day
- Engage with Customers through meetings, calls, and emails to understand their needs and provide tailored IT solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for Customer retention and business growth.
- Monitor and track sales performance against targets, making adjustments as needed to achieve goals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to Customers
